AURES Holdings has now served 3 million customers at its used car dealerships

The AAA AUTO, Mototechna, AUTO Diskont and Driverama network of used car dealerships operated by the AURES Holdings group recently passed a milestone with the 3 millionth customer served in its 31 years on the market, including both buying and selling transactions. This number was achieved by the group as a whole, which currently operates nearly 60 branches in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Germany. This year alone, the group will buy and sell over 90,000 cars.

“I am delighted that the number of customers who have had a positive experience buying or selling within the AURES Holdings group is growing at an ever-increasing pace. There are several factors at play here and we are actively addressing them all – increasing the number of used car dealerships, expanding their capacity and improving the quality of the buying and selling process. All of this leads to an increasingly positive customer experience, which is reflected both in the level of our Net Promoter Score, a metric we alone in our industry measure, and in the growing number of positive reviews appearing in the Google and Seznam search engines,” said Karolína Topolová, CEO and Chair of the Board of Directors of the AURES Holdings group, which operates the AAA AUTO, Mototechna, AUTO Diskont and Driverama international network of used car dealerships.

According to Ms Topolová, several factors have led to the steady increase in numbers of vehicles sold, which was up by 8% year-on-year across the group in seven months of the year. “One of these factors is certainly the expansion of our branch network and the increased capacity of our existing used car dealerships, but also our expansion into new sectors. We are experiencing our highest growth in the trade in nearly new cars. In the Czech Republic, this segment already accounts for a fifth of our sales, and we are also growing rapidly in Slovakia and Poland. We are also managing to reach new customer groups thanks to the Driverama brand and via the Mototechna Drive car rental company,” explained Karolína Topolová.

The group opened a new branch of AAA AUTO in the Czech city of Ústí nad Labem in 2023 and in the Polish city of Krakow last week. Last year, a new branch in the Polish city of Gdansk also contributed towards growth in the number of customers.

Apart from expansion of the branch network and innovation, the group also sees further opportunities for sales growth in boosting the numbers of vehicles powered by alternative drivetrains, especially electric vehicles and hybrids. “This is one of the reasons why we are gradually installing charging infrastructure at our branches, creating a dedicated team to support electromobility and building photovoltaic power plants. On our website, we provide detailed information about the battery status and running costs of the electric vehicles we offer. We have state-of-the-art diagnostic tools at our disposal which allow us to assess the condition of electric vehicles on a completely professional level in such a way that the customer can be certain they are making a safe purchase,” added Karolína Topolová.
