More than a quarter of vehicles in domestic AAA AUTO is now being sold using online processes

AAA Auto chain during the three domestic government lockdowns, as part of coronavirus pandemic last year and this year in the winter and spring, was gradually increasing the volume of used vehicles sold online from 20% through 50% to almost 85% of the usual volume, which was common in the open branches prior to the pandemic start. "Like the other dealers, following reopening of the branches in May this year, we were waiting to see how will the clients behave and whether online sale will remain the popular channel from now on. Luckily, we have managed to do that. Clients during the lockdowns gradually became accustomed that a vehicle can be selected and ordered online, for which we have a complete sale process created, from selection through payment to delivery. The process allows the clients to familiarize themselves with a vehicle without having have to really 'touch it'. Amongst the popular ways of purchase, there are the online services like the direct sale via web, as well as “assisted” online vehicle purchase from a different branch, other than the one, where the client is for the moment", stated by Karolina Todorova, the managing director and board of directors’ chair of AURES Holdings, operator of International chain AAA AUTO Auto centres.

Thanks to this process, clients not only have access to vehicles from a very wide offer, standing in different branches in this country, but on top of that, they can also order vehicles being purchased as part of Driverama company in Germany and from branches in Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. "All these vehicles went through detailed inspection process; we own all of them and therefore we provide them with corresponding guarantee: the client this way receives a benefit of historically the widest vehicle selection from our international retailer global supply. New possibilities of vehicle selection are open to domestic clients thanks to our coverage around all Europe. And this is in the situation, when there is a record low number of vehicles on the domestic market”, stated by Petr Vanecek, AURES Holdings Operations manager. Optimised processes allow a vehicle being transferred to a different branch within the country in a matter of hours, from foreign branches within a couple of days, including arranging any transfers or administrative formalities.

Chain AAA AUTO in the present time sells vehicles fully online especially for export, where the foreign clients monthly order 250-300 vehicles directly by "clicking" on the website. "With regard to the assisted purchase using online processes, the clients select the vehicle with our dealer online, directly in the branch. They have a full offer of vehicles available to them, as well as from other branches in the whole country, also from branches abroad within the AURES Holdings group range. Monthly in this country a quarter of people drive away their vehicle from us, buying it this way: selected and paid online", explained by Karolina Todorova. "We can say that we have historically high sales, recorded in July, August and September. Within the group we sold 26,000 vehicles, precisely thanks to the persisting interest in various forms of sale, using the online processes, Topolova concludes.
